it is interesting how the actual method is pretty much the same with homemade frames and lug-production like Trek uses...

make the tubing, lugs, apply glue of some sort, exert pressure and let it cure. Granted this guy prob didn't have a hydrolyic press - but probably reduces chances of inconsistencies with better attention to detail

ShinyBaldy, this bamboo frame was not made by gluing the lugs with tubes, it would be not possible to build that frame in this way...
