I saw some pics of those new Giant climbing frames that are sub 900gm. Any idea when they're gonna be available and at what price?

That frameset is the 2005 model. It was ridden in this years tour by ONCE. You'll have to wait one more year for this rig.

Hinweis zum 850g TCR Composite Rahmen:

- Es handelt sich nicht um einen im Handel erhältlichen Serienrahmen

- Das geringe Gewicht wird durch die Verwendung von T-1000 Fasern erreicht (anstatt T-700 Fasern). Dadurch konnte der Harzanteil noch einmal gesenkt werden.

- Der Rahmen wird ausschliesslich vom Profiteam eingesetzt

Thats because for the 05 they use unidirectional carbon fiber, no carbon weave here.
