Anybody used the new 35mm diameter bars and stem from Deda? Any real noticeable difference?

I tried one. Feels slightly stiffer than my Newton combo. Not that much. Interestingly it's quite a bit lighter than my 31.8 Presa. Maybe they have a new OEM factory?

Other than the design of those slots underneath the bar, it seems to be fine.

Note though, your overall front end stiffness is always limited by the weakest point, which is probably your fork steerer which is much smaller than your bar diameter (28.6 v. 35).

I like 'em, very stiff, reasonably light and a nice shape too but agree about the pain in the ass cable slots underneath! Also the graphics don't lend themselves well to tapeing the bars tidily, but thats probably the OCD in me lol.

I really like mine. My arms/hands play well with the Deda bend. I taped mine to the limit line on the bars, so didn' have the issue mentioned above. A bit of a pain to get the casing around a 90 deg bend though but that should not happen too often.

I found them very stiff, compared to Most talon
, and also over Deda Zero100

Nice bars. Got the cheap alubars on my CX but thinking of going carbon for the summer. Stem is as nice a normal Dedastem so just as I like it :)

BeeBee30: The logos are like that as you're not supposed to tape the top of your barends as it's already so thick. Just on the alubars without the wireguiding you have to do it.

thats why i think they really missed the point. the gradual taper on the 3t ltd series is better.

Been riding them on my NeilPryde and did a review on youtube as well: http://youtu.be/y80Er54FWyU?t=3s

I think 35 is a fantastiic format and in the case of HB and stem has a better road feel than 32.

Thicker grip on the tops has a good feel, I don't know that it's for everyone cause small hands might not grip well.

RHM shape drops have a great shape and they work well on SRAM, Shimano and Campa
