Eventhough this is the Road section of WW, as a little update on the MTB rims: we have gone from internal to external nipples now to ease retrueing and spoke replacement (which is more of an issue with MTB wheels than road ones, for instance because of objects getting into one's wheel).

morephyous--there is problem with that--i already have the 1.25s on a sub 800gram wheelset so i will compare them myself! My only problem is when will Tune release their sub 100g rear hub the the public?

One thing is certain, the finish of the AX rims should be better than the Edges. Whether they are as strong is something we'll find out. I just hope the white lettering on the AX rims are decals.

There is no official Mag90 price. The hub will not be sold as a hub but will only be available in the Tune wheelset. And that won't be released before Spring of 2010 and there is no price for the wheelset either.
If the hub were to be available, I would expect to see it in the $1500-$2000 range. 1 because of the 1.49 exchange rate right now and 2 because it has 4 full ceramic bearings, which I know can't be too cheap.
I've heard rumors that the design will trickle down through other models as we're already seeing with the Jezebel. However I'm also told that it won't happen anytime soon. Probably a year or two before another model has the same design principles.
