Anyone know what the Vittoria rim tape weighs?

I ask because a set of wheels I'm checking out comes with it installed, and they won't let me remove it without buying.

It is the green stuff, looks like rubberized veloflex tape.

Anyone?

Thanks

I don't know for sure, but it is not light. Similar to the Michelin strips.
You're not buying Velomax wheels are ya?

Gimme a day or two and I'll find out for sure on the weight.

Nope, not buying Velomax's, maybe something else.

Just for the moment, until it is official would you estimate 15-20g each wheel or what? Just want to figure wheel weight.

Thanks Paco!

Rim tape varies all over the map, but most weighs about 20 grams per strip.
For certain parts stiffer is more important than lighter.
