It seems there's no maintenance forum here at WW so here it goes on the road forum:

I'm thinking to buy a small ultrasonic tank to clean my chain and cassette regularly. Anyone here is doing it? If so, which tank are you using?

That's your own fault for riding with no clothes on.

I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B3 ... BJTJ&psc=1

Works great for a low-end ultrasonic cleaner. I'm able to use the side drain to filter the degreaser (lacquer thinner) through a coffee filter back into the storage can.

I like the bigger one because I can put entire cassettes in the cleaner, as well as other items from the shop.

Great! That one is a bit more affordable than the one on the MG video. I have a monoblock cassette. It probably won't fit a 3L tank right?

Is like asking how long is a piece of string. Measure your Cassette, find or measure whatever you settle on to use.

And, FWIW - there's no need to be bringing flammable-materials up in temperature and having any spill, potentially arc over on live electricity.

Unless you're an absolute idiot.

All solutions reccommended for industrial use are non-flammable and, become diluted with water. The only time anything with a flashpoint is to be used is to extract the last of any cleaning solution and, that's Isopropyl Alchohol well after any Ultra Sonic Cleaning.

I use my US cleaner with water at the end after all my chemicals are done in jars prior, Works a real treat and keeps my explosion chances to a minimum. There are many great ways to clean a cassette and chain without all the dramas, but hey the US cleaner will do many good things with chemicals in it too. Like others have said it is not too wise to use chemicals in it but still we try. A little tip is if you do it that way keep a piece if wood or something plastic nearby to turn it off so you dont get zapped, your life is worth more than the time saved :)

It likely won't fit in the 3L version but will fit in the 6L.
