I am building up a Colnago V3RS rim brake framset with a mechanical groupset, and I want to be sure I understand which small parts included are used where.

The photo shows the 3 small parts in question.

1. The black horn shaped piece in the middle is the rear mech cable guide to be used near the end of the drive side chainsaty. Is this correct?

2. The cable ferrule with tube on the right is placed in the rear mech cable guide from item #1. Is this corrcet?

3. Lastly, the black cable shealth shown on the left. Where is this used? Brake cable inside top tube?

Thank you!

I have a V3RS hydro/mechanical disc bike that was put together by my LBS. Since then I have changed the gear cables, from this change
I can confirm that item 1.) the horn shaped piece your assumption is correct that is the location for this part on my bike,

The other 2 parts don't figure in my setup but my guess is the sheath on the left can be used in the bottom bracket guide to aid front mech installation/shifting. ( I have the equivalent but it's clear tubing). The sheath with the ferrule I'm not sure but I would bet it's more something to do with gearing than braking,

Thank you for the feedback corky!

Can you please clarify the clear tubing location?

Do you mean where the front mech cable exits the BB shell?
