Cheaper than Dura-ace calipers and lighter? You get what you pay for would be my guess. funky colours though.

They look the same as token AKA accura AKA feather brakes that are being rebranded through out asia.

Interesting colours they have. I like the dark blue, if only there were more parts that colour to match my dark blue/black system6!

Sorry to bump an old thread but I'm installing a set right now and was looking for installation tips. The cable keeps slipping when I grab the levers hard enough. I'm guessing that I didn't tighten the little bolt inside the barrel that holds the cable tight enough?

Btw, they are coming with the Swiss Stop green pads now.

Oh, and mine weighed in at 195 grams - 10 grams lighter than the listed 205. :)

These PlanetX cnc brakes with swissstop have more breaking power!

I have a set with swiss stop greens can't fault them at all pads they came with were no good. I think they've stopped the green deal. Been running mine for 4 months with green and have to say they are as good if not better than the old style record they replaced,

In another thread it was mentioned that you use a tool to hold the barrel and then crank it down tight.

Did you buy from the UK or US?

Thanks - bought US. Rode 'em today and they worked great.

They work just fine. I have a set and have used Dura Ace, Ultegra, and Cane Creek in the past.
I do a lot of high-speed mtn descents here in Utah, so I wouldn't use them unless I had grown to trust them.

One downside is they have no quick-release, so you have to pop the little barrel out of its slot or leave the gap loose enough to get your wheel out without widening the gap. I considered it a small price to pay for the enormous weight savings and super bargain price.

these brakes are excellent value for money even at twice the rrp price, they often come up on bikeradar and other forums for £50 or less, I got mine for £40 so even better :D
The springs are nice and strong and they look amazing, Friends who have Zero gravity have commented that these brakes have stronger springs and thus a better feel. Its a no brainer :D
