I have the summer off, so lots of time to ride!!!

As for the group buy, it was paid months ago, so I assume its over, but give Pedalforce a ring or email. Good customer service.

And the ride report will follow as soon as she's built!

well the regular price is still 890$ for the frame which is still pretty good.

so how many bikes you got now Cippo?

Tooooo many!
Some are sold, others given to family, but mostly, I'm crazy.
And yeah, I think $890 is pretty decent.
This frame looks sharp.

Does this frame use asymmetric headtube?
I'm looking for a decent carbon frame with normal BB shell and normal headtube...

Can that heavy-ass seatpost clamp be made any lighter?

Actually, I have an idea: since the seat-post-mast is designed to be able to be cut down to 31.8 sizing, and it is essentially round, could you not cut a curve at the top, drill it, and then use a cradle, bolts and hardware in the style of a KCNC post?... basically only adding around 30 or so grams (guessing) as opposed to the 100+ grams?

The headtube is normal - not assymetric.

As for the clamp, I agree! I pm'd samu but got no response.
I would be VERY hesitant to self-alter this sort of thing.
I like the idea, but I'm not sure that the carbon is designed to handle a downward load in that very manner.

I have a better solution that would not make you lose resale value. since the tube is round and accept regular 31.6mm

seatpost, you could cut the tube to your size and use a cut down seatpost lets say 50-100mm with lightweight adjustment like the woodman seatpost. that thing should weigh around 40-50gr and you would have plenty adjustment if you wish to.

plus if you have to resale it, you have a wider public to sell it to since your not stuck with the adjustment if someone a bit
taller than you or smaller wants to buy it.

Its like what ruegamer does with his frames and if you look at the kuota kredo ultra too.

I think even if you modify the stock seatpost clamp you will never lose about half the weight of the seatpost idea.

Cippo-
Please post some built up pictures when you are done. I love my PF RS2, but the CG1 is the hotness, judging from your pictures.

Thanks.
This board and the world in general would be a much nicer place if everyone could just take themselves a little less seriously.

sorry! posted to the wrong thread.
For certain parts stiffer is more important than lighter.
