Cross post from MTBR 'save some weight'

Hello chaps,
Ordered my mech plate yesterday and it arrived this morning, spot on Fibre-Lyte. I have weighed the standard M960 plate 11.7g. Lighter than I thought! The new CF plate weighs 8.9g. 2.8g saved and some jazz added to my mech.

I have it on my XTR 02 long cage, it is perfect!
The weight with ti bolts is 198g!
