I am a large rider (195 lbs) and was thinking of using x-1s on my new lightweight bike (will not be raced). I usually use X-2 with no problem. Anyone have experience with them, and am I safe using them?

X-1's have a rider limit of 185lbs, so its cutting it close. If your a sprinter then forget about it, but if you stay in the saddle all the time then it shouldn't be a problem.

I was aware of the weight limit, but since I won't be on the bike to much I (won't be my training or racing bike) I was hoping they might be ok. Thanks though.
