Am I hallucinating? Did he say there will be a Shimano 4-bolt version?
Also, +/-1%. That's the same accuracy as SRM, for a fraction of the price.
OK. Now 2 big questions:
1) does price remain the same as for Type-S
2) are there new cranksets this will be compatible with? (outside of Rotor/FSA/Specialized/Cannondale)

I like the bluetooth and 1% accuracy, don't like the price and rechargeable battery. Hoping that they will reduce the price on the existing models (have my eyes on the 3D24 model).
The other PM on my shortlist is Quarq, let's see what they will announce @ Eurobike.

I'm on the same boat. Looking for some price drop on a Type-S SRAM
OR.....
If P2M comes with a really light NG (like a Clavicula), I may move my current 3D+ Type-S P2M to the gravel/cross, and get the new version for the WW.

From Quarq' Elsa RS page - **Please note: ELSA RS power meters are not compatible with the Shimano 9100 series chain rings. Does this mean 9100 has different 4-bolt pattern or something else is different? Like the shape of the spiders?

My understanding is the 4 bolt pattern is unchanged but there is a difference in the width of the chainrings as there's a difference between 9000 and 9100 to the overall pivot/movement distance of the FD.
