Has anyone used a 4iiii yet?

I have been using one for about 3 months. Seems to work fine, no dropouts or weird looking readings to report. Works at least as well as the stages on my other bike, and is smaller and cheaper in the bargain.

Since we're asking about what folks have used, has anyone converted their stock Garmin Vector pedals over to the Shimano platform using the Ultegra spindle kit? If so, how is it working? Are you still getting good data or have their been any weird anamolies since the conversion? Has anyone used the Ultegra spindle kit to swap over to Dura Ace pedals?

Just curious as I always thought that they'd sell a lot more Vectors if they shipped a stock Shimano platform. But since they don't, but do offer the conversion kit, I'm curious what folks have to say about it. I have a P2M on my current bike, but it's something to consider for my wife in the future or other friends who might want to go that route.

I've swapped about 5-6 sets over now, not had any customers report any issues so far. Not tried a set of Dura-Ace either.

BTW: I just bought a Stages, and it is not without issues, but I am giving customer support a chance to get things fixed. So far they are making an effort.

Very frequent dropouts.
Stages just said they are sending me a new unit, so we'll see how that goes.

Is that gen 1 or gen 2? Gen 2 supposedly had the issue fixed.

Well, I presume it is the latest generation, whatever that is. It is a "Closeout" Ultegra 6700 model.
And, in typical "internet info" fashion, I had never heard anything but good things about Stages...until I had my problem. Then googling "Stages dropouts" specifically, I get many hits and it is apparently a common problem. Maybe I just didn't research thoroughly enough. I thought Stages was pretty well established, and must be producing reliable meters.
But I feel like any product can have a percentage of defects, so I am patiently working with their support rep to see if I can get it working.
Suffice to say that I have tried all the common fixes that are commonly recommended, and a few more, and they are now sending me a new arm. They have really been quite good about it so far; but I don't have a working meter yet.

Ok. I think if u have bought brand new from last Sept (thereabouts), it should be gen 2 model. Fwiw my gen 2 stages has been pretty much flawless, set n forget.

I´m having problem with calibration with my 2nd Gen DA Stages and a EDGE 1000.

It takes to long or gives calibration error.

All firmwares updated.
