4iiii starting to show up in Europe
€418.80 for 105 crank arm
https://www.evanscycles.com/4iiii-preci ... 0-EV273962
as opposed to €598.80 for stages
https://www.evanscycles.com/stages-shim ... 2-EV261153
should shake things up.

Now this is the kind of price I'm looking for, although still a bit pricey (for me) with dura ace.
Very likely new Stages....

Dont know a lot for the srm catcher but is it for cadence magnet? then the answer is no because Pioneer magnet is not a simple single magnet. It consists of two pieces and they are facing N and S each towards the sensor as far as i checked mine. Theoretically the official magnet patch is replacable if you have two small pieces but i have never try since now pioneer does not require magnets at the latest firmware if you use simple Ant+ mode.

No mention of what the head unit is for something with that high a resolution. My understand was that that SRM is on the only major that uses sampling at great than one second via a secondary ant+ channel. Others may have a higher resolution but average the data????
I stand to be corrected as I am a little fuzzy on the some of the ant+ stuff

Pioneer also has a greater data resolution.

I believe this is correct, but I think it only applies to the PC7. IIRC, the PC8 records at a slower sampling rate.

This whole fiddling with the cable is a huge let down for me. Do engineers at Shimano have a fetish for cables or what? The rechargeable and fully sealed part is good news though.

It is very clear from the pics that it is a prototype and not a finished product. I would not assume anything at this point...

Wires to make it one transmitter and battery removes the dropout issues of the Pioneer units.. and honestly how often are 99% of people removing their crank.
