You should use the Zipp pads, they work great and last longer than cork does. I've been using mine for 2 months now and still have losts of pad left.
Quit whining and go ride your bike!!
Rich I've just purchased a set of those. I got the sapim spoke upgrade and the wheels weighed in at 1025g. I have silver spokes and hubs and it looks nicer than the black (especially on that limited of yours). Havn't weighed the decals I took off of them but hopefully they'll be closer to an even 1000g w/o the decals. Havn't had a chance to ride them yet, I will thursday and give some feedback.
KaB, I took the plung, ordered a set of the 38mm Carbons today, but I went with the black spokes, standard build, Ti binders.
I couldn't justify the extra 100 clams for the sapims (I have them on my CR420s) since Simon @ A/C told me they only will save about 30g.
I have a set of Corsa CX Evo for the rear, and a CX T.T. for the front.
And Tufo rim tape...

If you don't mind me asking, what was the damage to your wallet?
