Use of Beryllium in bike components?

Years ago some MTB manufacturer used Beryllium (small percentage) in an alloy frame. Could have been gary fisher.?? or perhaps someone else. this must have been mid 1990's I think..It was displayed at a trade fair and was in a magazine article covering the event.

I remember the dutch brand Van Tuyl used Beryllium in an alloy frame too. Probably 6 years ago or so.
Whow! That's a pretty damn nice garage door!
