How does the new centering mechanism work?

The old eccentric mounting bolt is the most interesting part of eebrake

Can't see the second picture. Maybe something blocking it on this computer.

The new aero cover looks interesting. Assuming it's held on by magnets?

Yep my computer is blocking the picture. I wish they would have carried the aero cover higher up to cover the top section a bit more where the cable enters. I do like it.

Madcow, do you have a straight on shot of the cover installed?

I think calling it a cover is a bit misleading, you do not mount the brake and then mount the shield over it. It is an aero replacement of the bridge that would normally be alloy. If it were a cover I don't think it would be UCI legal, but as it is it's an integral piece of the brake, that is the brake will not work without a bridge and you can use either the flat alloy bridge or the carbon aero bridge.

Bman I'll try and snap a few more pictures this afternoon.

Is it possible to see the shield off of the brake. So if I am correct, you remove the metal brace, and replace it with the shield. So that is how it is held in place. So there is no way this would be a retrofit to the old brakes.

correct it replaces the metal bridge. It will not work on older brakes as it only fits direct mount brakes.

Does this mean that we cannot get the aero bridge for normal mounts even on new brakes?

How much drag are we saving with the shield anyway?

Are there any whispers of an Enve dual mount fork in the pipeline?
