braking on carbon rims

Hello,

I’m very interested in carbon-wheels, that’s why I’m asking you of your experience which you have made with braking on carbon rims.
How is braking on carbon rims on dry conditions, is it similar to aluminium rims? How is it on wet conditions?
Did someone made experience with the pads from ZIPP? Do they real make the best pads, which exist actually on the market?
If they are really the best, can I use these pads also on other carbon rims, for example Campagnolo Bora or Cormia?
Does somebody know better pads for carbon rims?

Thank you very much!!

Best regards
Piero

Ps: please excuse my English, it isn’t my mother tongue!

I can't speak from experience, but I have heard that campy makes some carbon rim pads that work better than zipps.

I've got the Zipp 303's and the Zipp pads.
They have started to howl when I apply them. Haven't done anything yet.
They howl and there is vibration from the rim not being flat.
Is this typical?
