Hi,

I do have Campagnolo Hyperon ultras wheels. I love those ones. I have been using them for more than 5 years. Today I was cleaning them and found out that the clear coat is missing on the braking track. Well, maybe it has been missing for years, I do not know.... :-)
Does it mean that wheels are to be replaced?

Actually, how do I recognize worn brake track on a carbon rim?
Is there a way I could put a new clear coat on? A high temperature resistant one?

Thanx for replies.

Same way you recognize it on aluminium rims. Put a straight edge across the brake track and measure how much it is worn.
