M2Racer headset

Snagged one of these. They are basically ALL plastic, including the cups AND bottom/top races. The only metal is the needle bearings and very thin races for those bearings.....41grams no top cap

Very reminiscent of the old Nylor headsets. I wonder how a plastic race holds up?

I was wondering the same thing. On such an important piece of the bike, is the weight savings really worth the risk? How does it hold up?

have to agree with the others

considering the importance of this component, how will a pedominantly plastic part last?????????
