Terraillon, Mavic...Vive la France !

Where did you hide those ancestral beauties ? (I mean the rims...)

(Elles ont toujours la cote chez les amateurs de roues légères faites main)
(Still a must for the handmade light wheels weenies)

Well, the place I've kept them is a total secret! 8)

Well, to let you know, I am a novice wheelbuilder.
I sell many rims of that kind, if someone is interested, just PM me.
I'll post soon a new topic with custom and awesome built with such rims.

those are awesome vintage rims! i have a set of 1980's mavic GL330 tubular rims. they have campy super record hubs and are 32 spoke with light gauge spokes. i don't have access to an accurate scale for things that small. do you have any idea how much those might weigh? complete or just the rims or hubs? any info would be greatly appreciated.

Very nice catalogue Adrien.
You should get those into the listings section.

This brings back memories. I used to ride the OR 7 back in the 80'ties. Thought they were way cool with the gold colouring (which would disapear first time you touched the brakes). In reallity the were softer than an overcooked noodle.

Well I've already submitted those weights but they haven't been added. Maybe they haven't believed me!

The GL330 rims are between 349 and 361gr. I know someone who has weighted many of them. For the complete wheel, I have no clue at all. You should look every parts of the wheel separately.

Martin, there is two kind of "Médaille d'or" rims. Those ones made with Or7 rims and those ones made with Argent10 rims. That's why mines looks so heavy.
