Well, the saddle doesn't flex that much, but I agree: that's a stock KCNC bolt, and it's too long for this post.

Have you test rode the setup yet?? I'm very tempted to do this to my thomson post as well...I have a slr carbonio saddle and I am a 'lil concerned about sharp edges cutting into the carbon rails.

Lynskey seatposts use a carbon lower cradle...but is it interchangable with a Thomson?? Anyone have a clue?

That would bring down my cut post to 118g and be way cooler than my old KCNC.

That's the same weight savings I got from the KCNC hardware. Very impressive.

I inspected the saddle rails with my finger to look for nicks, and didn't find any from the KCNC. Kevin @ Bike Nüt recommended Al tape on carbon rails to help protect them from KCNC clamps. I'm going to try this as well.

That kit should be avaidable this month or in 1-2 weeks. In fact some people are already using it. Comparing to KCNC it has a full support for the rails.

Well like I mentioned I just picked up a Masterpiece post and would love to test out this new carbon set up with ti bolts. Let me know when I can buy a set or even test a set which I still do not mind paying for. There is nothing like testing these out on the west coast of Canada on the killer hills we have here. I might even put another set on my road build if it works out great.

Cheers.

I think the version that you posted does not come with the ti bits and the other version does which I hope will be about the same price if possible.

I know that but then you have to buy them from someone else and pay extra shipping. If someone can offer all of it at once, it helps.

I'll try to let you know when it is availdable.

And $130 for lower/upper cradle is simply said ''a lot'' The idea was to make such upgrade for a few interested users on other WW forum, also so it costs a lot less. Since the demand is there for such parts, the guy decided to make some more which will be ready soon :)
