Since they are pushing the weight envelope they are probably worried about product liability lawsuits in the US. Just like Axel at AX-Lightness. Can't say I blame them. If some dumb old broad can get a couple million $ for spilling hot coffee on ther lap driving away from some fast food joint, just think what you could get crashing on a descent from some problem with a frame, regardless of how much your negligence was involved.
