I may be wrong but it sure looks like all that was done was to modify the pedal by removing (dremel or other rotary tool) the composite body, polish the spindle sleeve, and then re-attach the butterfly.

Obviously not enough, as O'Grady didn't win the race. In fact, I'll bet those pedals cost him the victory.

I'm kidding.

As Sasha said, it is in fact Specialized Roubaix bar tape, in white naturally.

Well, it's been posted that Stuart O'Grady's machine for Paris-Roubaix has been a modified R3 with around a centimeter more for the chainstays (I thought last year was a prototype RS and he'd be using that this year).

Would anyone know if Cancellara's winning bike from two years ago is a standard R3 (399mm seatstays)?

Or was is also modded?

Anyone in the know?

If he was using the same 27mm tubulars that O'Grady was last year, it was definitely modded.

There's quite a few companies that have the same bar tape that Ogrady have on his bike but I think they are all oem by BIKERIBBON

Ummm. Hate to say it, but I'm pretty sure he used them last year as well when he WON!

He has come a long way since his major fall in the Tour last year. I was stoked to see him do so well!

Ummmm, hate to point it out, but I think you missed the writing in white just below the comment that says "I'm kidding"
