Anyone used carbon fibre chainrings before? Interested in durability and shifting.

Please advise. Thanks.

I don't think full carbon will last that long. Tune makes carbon rings with Ti. teeth. I think that they will hold up to the abuse much longer.

Tuna had a test person and they've driven 9000km(both chainrings) with it. It won''t shift better because you can't make an edge on the tooth while it is carbon. it is stronger with straight tooth.

hope this will help you!

I did see them at the Storck booth while I was attending interbike. I was however not able to get a weight or price. Both times I happened by Marcus Storck was not around. :?
