Took me at least 4 tries. I'd re-mold em again, but its close enough to ride 5hrs/ride.

Lucky... it took me about 30 tries (not exaggerating) to get my right foot just perfect. Left shoe is a bit off but I'm being too lazy to fix it...

Hello guys i have a problem with my BONT VAYPOR

-They are like sleepers even for 5 to 6 hours ride when temps are Under 20°C
But when it s over 20°c AFTER 2 AND HALF HOUR i start to have crampes and hot spots .

What should i do GIve up my Bont for Summer and try something vented or
- Drilling holes in the soil to let some fresh air geting thrue
-Paint all the black carbon soil in WHITE to have less heat building up .

IF someone has solved the problem let me know
What i m sur id this shoes are not vented enoeugh for me.

HELP PLEASE.

drilling very small holes, separated enough, should help a lot. Holes in the front and sides will improve a lot. Pity Bont do not release a kind of summer shoes... In this sense, Mavic shoes are the best for hot days.
Happy Trails !!!

New Vaypors are here. Haven't picked them up yet tho.

Will post back after the Giro and my last ride on my A1s as primary shoes.

I did the Bont online fit thingy more than once... Every time it came back 'size 41.' ...Except once...

So I ordered 41s

Too small. Grrrr Not only were my toes jammed up against the end of the shoe, the ball of my foot was in the wrong spot on the soles.

So they're going back and I'm getting a pair of 42s sent.

So... the moral of this story? A1 sizing and Vaypor sizing are different!

To answer the 'straps or dials?' question: straps. Dials aren't in yet. (as of Fri when I asked last)

Bont's aren't as light as I was hoping. Actually gained some grams from my current go-to shoes.

My problem has been that I feel the T-nuts through the insole that I have. They are not flush with the bottom of the carob sole and stick out so much it hurts the balls of my feet. Some plastic shims haven't helped either.

Yes, the problem with the Bont is the sole is very thin, so I found that Dremelling off 2-3 mm off each screw, or using Shimano screws will fix that issue.

bikefit sells a host of replacement screws. as will darn near any hardware store that has a reasonable fastener isle...

Coco, if you cant fuss with measuring the bolts, send me a full length and head and rod length and I'll send you smaller ones. I probably have them on hand as I have full assortment kit from Bikefit.

The LBS got an RM for my shoes. We looked on QBP's site.

Out of stock

Guess I gotta make a call on whether an updated pair of road shoes is more important than CX shoes and equipment.

...only 100 days till cross season!

Charles- that's what she said. Bonts are temporary until I can send D2's back to Don to work on.

I'll try some different T-nut bolts at McGukins hardware. Thanks guys.

Have to say I'm disappointed in my new Vaypor+ shoes.

Both BOA's near the toes are defective. Neither will stay tight under pressure, and the left one won't even stay latched at all. Also, they are advertised at 225 grams for a size 42, but my 44.5 narrows came in at 287L and 284R.

Sent an email to Bont, and no response whatsoever after 3 days.

Need to find straps that are a bit longer, does Bont makes them in different size, or can I use others?

Please help, just got my custom insoles, since I have very high arches, the straps are a tad too tight.

thx
