Zero Gravity Spring Problem

I have a set of Zero Gravity brakes and somehow unbeknownst to me the spring has been bent and frequently pops out of the spring holes. I am wondering if you can replace the Ti spring or what other options/suggestions do you have. Thanks!

It could also be part of the regular wear and tare of those brakes. I'm sure ZG can set you up with a new spring though.

Yup. It's also possible that your brakes are part of the batch that left the factory with springs that were a bit short.

Call ZG or email them.

Same with me, I contacted the UK distributor and sent my faulty rear brake back to him and he sent me a completely new one.

Haha, bmacattak is my buddy; he's borrowing my road bike, equipped obviously with ZGs. I'm betting he breathed a huge sigh of relief to find out the guys over at ZG have great customer service. I would have rained all sorts of hell upon him if my precious bike were hurt.

Quick question: what brakepad type do I buy for zero gravities? Is it campy style or shimano? They're needing a set of swiss stop yellows by now.

i used shimano style.
I have to say i really like my zero g's..way more modulation.

Mea culpa. I was dismembering well. I got my memories of Mavic SSC pads mixed up with ZG pads.

ZG pads are Campy style.

I'm sure the pads I fitted were called Campag 2000.

I had a pair of 05's.
After 6 months - 2000 km's - the front spring kept popping out of the retaining hole.
No matter what I did - bending the spring, straightening the spring, nothing worked - it just kept popping out especially under moderate braking.
Not good when riding in the city!
I emailed ZG about this last year - they took the brakes back no questions asked - sent me a brand new 06 set within a week - Now how's that for customer service.
The new springs in the 06 set has not budged since I installed them 5000 km's ago.

just an update. ZG replaced the faulty brake. So that is awesome!

Just had a similar problem and zero said to send them back no questions asked for a free repair and upgrade.
