SL,
You were also looking at the Giant TCR Advanced. What were your reasons for going with the Scott, assuming you could have gotten either one? Your list looks good.

that is a great price. now the question is, when will it be available?

what are the measurements of the canyon frames.

Just be 'cheap' and get a ritchey wcs. its light, its durable....it works. or if thats too ugly (those damn world champ stripes.....you could just paint over em tho) get a stella azzurra. either the viceversa mag, viceversa alu, or my personal favorite, the razzo.

Found out the Mega EXO weighs more then the ISIS with BB by 140g!!! The SLK is actually the heavy model, the K force is the light one at 660g with BB, SLK is 730g with BB while the k force ISIS with new ultimate BB is 580g.

I think I should point out SL's subtle note reguarding the stem- something worth repeating again and again.

The F99 is not a good stem for carbon bars.

I run the F99 with the Prima 199 bar (195g @ 40cm not tuned) Call me old fashioned, but I'd rather have a bar that isn't going to explode cuz I missed the torqe by a newton.

The F99 / Prima 199 is a hard combo to beat in the cost ($170), weight (269g), durability chart.

Ah.. but I'm pissing people off who spent 3x that on a bar....

Not to be bias, I also think the Kestral SL bar is wicked. Persoanlly I would stick with the Ritchey WSC stem. Not just because of cost, they are light and well designed.

I second the nomination for the Ritchey WSC.

BTW, thanks for not suggesting one of those one-piece bar-stem combos... that's just stupid. Adjustment people... come on!!!

FRM WebStem Ti.

2-bolt faceplate; works great work carbon bars; light; nice simple graphics.
123g actual in 120mm. I have this stem with Kestrel EMS Pro SL bars.
The Ritchey WCS type faceplate (1-piece; 4-bolt) is actually even worse on carbon bars than 2-piece, 4-bolt types (i.e. Syntace F99).
That said, I think the Syntace F99/TTT Prima 199 is perhaps the combo; cheap, light, strong: I'm always a bit in fear of the EMS...(mine, in 44 c-c, actually weigh 177g  ).

Superlite,

the extralite UL roadstem is lite and very nice. It weighs at 120mm 106gr!!

You can order through mail, contact at www.extralite.com

I can possibly get my hands on a Ax-lightness Apollo. A used one, but without any marks. Only the decals aren't on them anymore. Interested? Just let me know.

I'll try to get any pictures within a few days. I haven't got the saddle at home at the moment. I'll get back to you.

We could make a deal with the Zero Alu inserts with Ti-bolts. I mailed you about them.

I see several bikes with the F99 Schmoke bar listed here. I'm planning on using the Tune/Schmoke bar with the alum re-enforced stem clamping area on a Scott CR1. What about this combo?

I'm also using the F99/ttt199 combo on another bike and like it alot.
