Amazing things!
I wonder how one conveniently gets access to the right sort of raw-aluminium
(if one wants to try to accomplish something like this oneself)?
Best regards, Palbin
The ChainKeeper is made out of PETP, not aluminum

PETP (Polyethylene Terephthalate Polyester?) - world is getting more complic-
ated by the minute ....!
I was asking about (how to get the right) material for your (amazing) stuff in
general - not only the last item the chain keeper (although I possibly would
need such an item as well) - so how do one conveniently get access to the
right sort of aluminium and PETP (to have a go at trying accomplishing some-
thing similar oneself)? ( )

@ palbin, probably the easiest way to pick up material is to have a freind/relation in the precision engineering industry, most engineering shops have pretty large stocks of leftovers and off cuts kicking around which are perfect for this type of project.
You seem like an amiable guy so maybe try to approach a local firm to have a nose through theit off cut bins.

On my work, some times we have some matrial left over from the production. Then i have the opportunity to make a few ChainKeeper.
We don't have PETP matrial at the moment.

call Volvo (swedish morotvehicle maunfacturer) who got their main factories in
my town - surely they should have some spare metal for me if life is fair - will
try the Campy barendshifterbolts first ... palbin
