Then there is created a version 2 today, it is more stable and robust constructed than the first model.

Very cool idea, sign me up once you've got it ready.

I wonder if it would be possible to make a complete stem faceplate with the mount integrated?

I also have a few suggestions. Sounds like you're getting close to a pilot production version. Start a list of all of the users that said they'd be in for one. If you think you can estimate the price, I'll paypal you immediately to help with production costs.

If you can estimate a production date, please post one - however vague. If it's 6 months out, i'll buy the other version until yours is ready. Ever since you posted this idea i've been noticing how much better it would be if my edge 800 were not mounted on my stem.

Also, I'm itching to anodize something in my kitchen again - I'll gladly take a raw version and try to anodize it black, if that get's me one sooner. I've had some success anodizing old bmx parts.

Yes, I also considered the possibility, but it would be too time consuming to produce.

Sign me up for two of those when you're ready to sell some. This is exactly what I've been looking for!

Not as a product that will come out to bike shops worldwide.

But if I can "help" some riders who also ride with a 3T stem, so I do.

It will be anodized black when it is finished. And then I make stainless steel bolts that look like the original titanium bolt.

Best news this spring!
The work you do is absolutely stunning Morten, so I'll be eagerly awaiting any news on this mount in the near future :D

Very clever desing.
If I can't get my carbon fiber Garmin mount to work with 3T stem, then your mount is only option I would accept. Even if I could make mine to work yours is still cooler looking when anodiced black. Now make one that's tilted to work with -17° stem ;)
