Did anyone ever manage to get a pair. I've been on the waiting list for 8 months with Posh Bikes, but never heard back from them.

You`ll have to wait, they don`t have a big stock of them. And they were supplying the pros at the Tour de France, this was their main interest, so the retail customers will have to wait.

Did any TdF rider use AX brakes?
I only saw Basso using ZG's, but only for the Alpe d'Huez TT

Heras and some others

I got the brakes in July.
front-brake works like Campa and mavic, very stiff, rear-brake a little bit less, but strong enough, i use the brakes with Koolstop brakepadholders and Hyperon-brakepads, until i would find lighter holders, and soon i will check out the Lightweights-brakepads
Heras was using the AX-brakes in the TdF, perhaps this was the reason for his low Speed

I own a pair and so far:

Front slightly better than Zero gravity (that really are in need of some manual that says pads are only for carbon rims!).
Rear is worse and can be compared with the good old Cane creek brakes.
Generally they are nice but not worth the money (just my point of view)
