Does anyone know if its possible to buy the A.C. 300 or 350 rim only?
If so, where?

In Spain they're available under the Progress brand.

It's funny, I asked AC why they wouldn't sell the rims only and the reason I was given was they were worried about the rim getting a weak reputation due to poor builds. I have purchased 2 sets of wheels from them and both were shoddy builds. one was exceptionally so. :? Good thing I am a very good builder or I would have been screwed. :)

I had the same problems with their carbon wheels. I expect to do a much better job than production wheels since I can spend all day on one pair and they can't, but they should at least stay true for more than one ride. They were technically true out of the box but got there the wrong way - way under tensioned and extremely uneven. Didn't even make it 100m out of the driveway before they were out of whack.
