Bontrager Triple X Lite Aerobar

Bontrager Triple X Lite Aerobar at Tour and on Your Bike

In development for over two years with the USPS team, the Bontrager Triple X Lite Aerobar has proved very successful in its first race applications, earning a second place finish in the Tour's opening Prologue and a commanding win in today's Team Time Trial.


Lance has raced prototypes of this bar weighing as light as 500grams during the development process. The resulting production bar ridden by the team in this years Tour is a 630gram aerodynamic wonder.

The production Bontrager Triple X Lite aerobar is scheduled for availability this fall.

The Bontrager Triple X Lite Aerobar features a standard 31.8mm clamp diameter with adjustable arm rests and internal brake cable routing. Both Team White and carbon weave finishes available. Aftermarket Team Issue extensions designed for Lance Armstrong will retrofit to the production bar.

well, i couldn't attach the US postal aerobar pictures

I hope you know the history of how they developed the aerobars that we're talking about.

i don't this to end up as one of those debates.
