Giant TCR Two

I've got a light bike, on a budget... Trying to find ways to save more weight without going into major debt... Any tips for small things would be good.

Any good skewers out there?... dont have to be QR... for use in a hillclimb.

Anyone ever put a non-Giant fork on a TCR frame? I like the look of some of those light ~350g Easton's...

And I'll be sticking with my SRM

any possiblity for you to get your fork exchanged for a FF-CF10XL (the composite fork/steerer that the other TCR uses) ?

358 grams with a 300mm steerer - should be cheaper than getting an entire fork seperately, tossing out a perfectly fine fork and replacing it.

Just in case you want to do the altenrative fork

rake is 45mm.. just for comparison a EC90 SL is 43mm

Should be about 300~400 dollars at your LBS. Altho I know someone who acquired one from his at 200~300 dollars not a bad deal.

Non QR, check out Dusted74 or try finding a pair of Control Tech ti skewers on eBay. Another option is Heylight, super light skewers but the downside is you need a spanner to remove them.

If you want the ultimate chi-chi in QR then take a look at the Bold Precision skewers.
