Did I miss something while riding in Colorado? What happened to Fast Freddie and the TdF? Was he not selected? Did he bow out before the start? Can someone bring me up-to-date and point me to a news article describing what has gone on? Thanks.

Freddie's team is a division two outfit in Italy. They could not be selected for the TdF because of that I am sure. Freddie would have known that long ago when he signed for A&S so he wasn't surprised.

His team will probably ride the Vuelta so he can use that to get ready for the Worlds in Verona.

Anyone know how to get those Fast Freddie Defeet socks he was wearing in Philly?

yeah, Fred knew he wasn't going (since his team couldn't)..he's been in the US racing out towards the west coast...
