Does anyone out there use these pulleys? Or do you guys know of something better?

Yes, the Tiso pulleys are of very high quality - Also very well priced. The are one of the lightest "known to man".

i think they actually add weight. In addition to that, I've never personally seen better der. performance from those pulleys. Stock pulleys are designed to have a certain amount of "float" to properly shift. Those have sealed bearings, no float, no performance.

Aren't those alloy pulleys very noisy?

I am using the Tiso pulleys. They are a little noisier than the standard ones and they actually shift better when everything is adjusted correctly. But if the cable tension is off they are a little worse without the play in the upper pulley.

The best thing is the sealed bearings are smoother than the bushings used in regular pulleys and stay that way much longer.

I am also using Tiso Pulleys, but with Ceramic hybrid bearings. There is a lot to gain there, especially if you are using Campa.

standard campag ones are plastic aren't they??? hard to dee how aluminium ones could be lighter.

they could also be carmichael pulleys here in the states. great for the road but fill with crud on MTB's (from experience) great bearing for wet conditions.

Don't know of they are still being made. I have a couple of sets for spares
