Just thought about putting some ti countersunk bolts on my X-1's. Anyone done this? Weight savings?

I know racebolts.com sells the right size 4mx12mm countersunk. but at $12 plus shipping just trying to see what the savings is?

You only save 2g, plus they have a greater tendency to snap. It's not worth it, hence why I don't sell them with my inserts.

Superlite,
Can you not contact me about your inserts? I've tried numerous times to contact you about buying two sets.

I have a set of the BTP's and they shipped with alloy bolts which didn't work to well. I went back to the steel ones and they work MUCH better. I also have a set of Superlite's and they seem to be working better than the BTP's. 8)

Has anybody considered making aluminum plates for Zeros, or does the design prohibit it?

I'm gonna make some, but I need to hear from people to see how many are interesred. If we could get a list going with at least 10 people I can produce a batch.

Well, depending on the weight savings vs. price ratio,
count me in for a set!
