-Bianchi EV4 Aluminium
-Cannondale CAAD7 Team Replica

I think the Bianchi EV4 could be the best choice - Very light, very nice, and also very cool!

2005 Bianchi... I can't wait. They are going to "bring on the goods" - It's there 120th Anniversary!!!

Fondriest don racer is a nice one. Italian geometry, very light and quality build. Kind of pricey though.

Who builds them? How about the carbon Fondriest frames (Top)?

It says Fondriest on the frame doesn't it?

....kidding aside my understanding is that they're a real manufacturer. They're also known to sometimes make relabeled frames for the peloton.

I've heard lots of people slam the EV4 for being way to flexy. Don't know first hand if it's true .. that they sacrifice stiffness for lightness. I'd stay away based on what I've heard.

Heh.. yes Fondriest builds their own. I think of them as having the quality build of a colnago along with some of the best paint I've ever seen on a bike. I think they have more choices catered to racing then most. Look at their website, they've got 4 carbon models and 5 alloy. A bit pricey though. There was a Fondriest top-carbon (frame set only) in the LBS that the owner somehow got in a deal with a distributor. He was selling it for $3500. It WAS absolutely beautiful but for that money you can almost buy two CR-1 framesets!
