I've used one for over a year without any problems...but just switched to an Easton EC90 SL because it was 60+gm lighter (weighed). The sub 3 was 340'sgm while the EC90 was 280's gm (and used a longer tube and more spacers)

been using mine for about a year and a half..switched over from a Profile AC because it was too flexy for the crits out here. the Sub3 is heavier, but it is much better for cornering. It does transmit more road shock too.
