I think it's slang for a half dozen CADDilacs. Only people with really big garages have a CADD6.

Hey.. after that rebadged Giant thread I don't believe anything I read anymore. In fact, in a trip to europe I rented a car. A "skoda". It's just a rebadged VW!

Seems like Mayo will not start today. Not official yet but from his entourage comes the message that he will abandon due to mental and physical problems.

I wish ! No a CADD6 was Cannondale's light System Intergrated frame set in 2002 and was replaced by the thinner tubed CADD7 Model which is the current offerening. CADD is short for computer aided design and drafting. The CADD6's chief claim to fame was the intergrated 42mm bottom bracket with it's own crank set. The Saeco model is just the frameset painted in the, then, Saeco Team Colors.

To make a long OT short.. it's not CADD6 or CADD7 but CAAD6 and CAAD7

Cannondale Advanced Aluminium Designs or something along that line..

I think it's Aluminum... since C'dale is based in the USA... and AluminIum is British English...

Jan's using a TT bar today. I guess he had to add some weight to reach 6.8

[aparently his bike weighs 7.2]

That was my first guess too, but he actually used it all the way to the top.
Well done Lance ! and Jan is getting stronger now so a podium place in Paris must be possible.
Lance also broke Pantani's Alp record..

I thought I read that Armstrong did NOT break Pantani's record (that he missed it by one second)...

And, people are still VOTING in this poll?

You're correct cadence, Lance rode 37:36 and Pantani 37:35.
I heard on live TV Lance rode 37:21 but obviously they (the Belgian Sporza ) started their timemeasuring after the point where the organisation started theirs.

so I stand corrected
