Anyone else think the seat tube looks really slack? To my eye, the seat tube angle looks to be about 70 degrees.

It looks that way but I would think the effective angle is closer to normal. The seat tube seems bent around the wheel in order to accomplish that.
The cyclingnews article says the design of the seat tube and chainstays were to bring the wheel as close to the BB as possible for the stiffist configuration possible. Look at that freekin wheel, there must be like 3-4mm between the wheel and the seat tube!!
