this is definetly a prototype:wink: looks quite fragile, like a 2.5 scaled
in diameter. the wheels seem to be z2. maybe graham did a closer shot...

Looks like an unpainted BMC with Easton SLX fork

Maybe he's riding 180mm's which are not available in carbon

Or he needed to make the bike heavier for the UCI.

That's possible, but Tyler is a small guy and I think he used carbon crancks in the normal stages. It's uphill so not a real TT.

I'm more surprised by Mayo's rig. No trick wheels, just a trick frame...

Tyler's height is 172cm or 5'7" I doubt he would use 180mm cranks. I would bet that his bike was right at the UCI weight limit.

yes, the golden (why?) joints are a clear proof.
to my own surprise i saw a lot of bmc team bikes at the
team presentation not using carbon cranks. (he might be still using 9-speed?)
definetly a great ride (i guess it scratches the uci weight-limit really closely...)

speaking of mayo's ride, why isn't he riding the new carbon Orca? Isn't that bike supposed to be sub 1kg? Maybe that alu bike he is riding is U2 tubing?

It's definitely a BMC, but the seatpost looks like its integrated, Time style. also looks like the seat tube lugg was scaled down abit. also of note... anyone know what the deal with the aero bar bracket is? is it just there to add weight?

I find Tyler's Seatstays more interesting.
I didn't have the luck of attending a Bike Show so I haven't inspected the joins.
