Has anyone used this?

I did a couple of searches but i couldn't find any hits in this forum. It seems like an easy way to trim off ~40g, and provide better support for my carbon steerer to boot! The stock expander bolt for my '02 Easton EC-90 sits at the very bottom of where the stem clamps the steerer and does not seem to provide the steerer any structural support where it needs it.

The carbon ahead cap provides good support, just measure the internal diameter of the steerer exactly. Mine weighed 1g more than claimed on their website. It looks great. Pay careful attention to how well the top cap is glued to the steerer part. The carbon end cap on one of the bar end plugs came off as I put it in to the handlebars - a bit of superglue soon put it right.
Anyone sell them over the internet besides direct?

But I was advised against using it on an AlphaQ Sub3....
