Superlite, I thought the same thing...six months ago. Jan is fat, and hasn't raced at all, even when he was supposed to.

a better pic of Jan&his machine. One can see clearly that that is no Walser (I wonder in which basement his last year's machine catches dust - i wonder if they would mind if i relieved them of that piece of junk :-)

I'm not sure he can beat Lance, but he sure can challenge him!
BTW, according to his own words, he is glad to be the first 120kg athlete to win a mountain jersey

I was thinking same. If Jan starts to drink his coffee on left hand, so wil many people in Germany.

Anyway, Xentis wheels look nice in new Tour mag. If I would be byuing front wheel only in TT or Triatlon I would sure be interested. Now Lightweight's for multible use.

The stem was an old Look adjustable stem style because the bike was brand new so it had not been fully adjusted for Ulle.

I wasn't trying to contradict you. I haven't seen a Walser Aerobar close enough to tell, but Rich uses one and that seems to have the stem built in. :-)

The simple answer?

It is a Giant - same frame ONCE used in 2003. Same frame Liberty Securities continue to use.

Same frame Tmobile ladies use and same frame everyone in Tmobile team uses.

Not a Waser folks - Giant does make good quality bikes ya know?

the same frame was used in Murcia - so I would think the stem is rather adapted for the new bars (which are more similar to Ullrich's bars in the past). Replacing the normal bars giant installs on its TT bikes for ONCE and other Tmobile folks.

I agree Martin - And other thing - The brake levers on the walser bar are Carbon whereas the one's on Ulle's bike are Alumnium.
