I like the big-fellow idea, so if his family is ok with it I wouldn't mind having his nick name on my cranks somewhere even if I would need the lightweight version.

Utterly off-topic, but it is possible to combine a carbon fibre fetish with a love for expeditions - my sledges are hand made in carbon/kevlar by a guy in Norway

never got a reply I think he is busy. I called him and he confirmed getting my email and my mailing address.

He didn't actually respond to me when I sent mine but I sent a separate email asking about the SubHuman project and he gave me a pretty neat memo about it.
