I'm glad, now, that I didn't get picked. I really would have had my hopes up.

the last i heard was the ted had redesigned the crank to be lighter and stiffer than a DA crank. hopefully we will see something before 2008.

I thought that was the point of the original design....plus Cannondale already did that with Hologram SI...can't be that hard.

I got an email from Ted the other day. He's got his time split between the sub project and the cranks.

Looking at that made me realize my diet has been lacking in bloody critters lately.

I'm wondering whether Ted still intends to go through with the whole tester deal anymore. Development has been so long I'm not sure what purpose it would serve and even if it did make a big marketing splash it seems like it would just result in a lot of backorders and grumpy customers.

i think Ted will stay true to his word. all of us probably have at least 1-2 sets of zero g brakes. i myself have purchased cat claws, zero gravity 04, zero gravity 06 brakes from him, and got zero g 05. We have all supported him in this way and encouraged him. Even though it is taking longer than anticipated, he is one man who is doing great things and is a great innovator. Let's just give him all the time he needs.

The big question for Ted is, how long can you tread water?

Uh oh. Them's fightin' words.

FWIW, though, the correct term for his puppy, at least 'round these parts and the animules 'round here....well, the word would be "snack."
