been looking for my first tri frame for 6-8 months now.

I have been using my 1999 aluminum colnago for 10 years for both road and tri. Im tired of swapping parts.

almost got a p2c a month ago. but really wanted a p3c. but cannot seem, for the life of me, force myself to shell $3300 for frame and fork.

saw an element 6 size S (51) on ebay. full carbon, demo frame, used in one olympic distance race only. total miles less than 350. excellent condition, like new, seller (manager of element 6, very nice guy) has 100% feedback

frame fork, seatpost, headset --- asking $670. did my research. same frame as stevens, planet x, LG, velo vie, riddel(?) and 10 others.

called the seller --- done. Ill take it for $670 with shipping. wooohoo!!!

not as aero as p3c , felt, ordu etc etc --- assuming its true, who the f--- cares? I have survived with a road colnago for 10 years and I've only improved. frame arrives in one week just in time for assembly and test ride for my 7th NYC triathlon (2008) .

so yes --- go ahead and pay $3300 for the p3c. I will pass you on mile 9 anyway with some extra $2400 taped to my top tube .

you want more aero? loose that extra 5 pounds pal.

Why is weight related to aerodynamics?

It's a nice frame though; you should enjoy it.

lose that extra 5 lbs and your shoulders will get narrower and woalah!!!! a a nsrrower front --- more aero.

if for anything else . . .if it has no aero effect then at least you make it up in a lighter overall weight.

diet 5 lbs off your entire body -- which part? even the greek gods cannot tell you. but definitely some will be off your upper body and consequently that will make you more aero.

I never said all 5 lbs would be off your shoulders. that would be weird.

Then why pay for the decals, when you can add your own?
I just got a quote from the direct manufacturer of the same frame in Taiwan for $620 for frame and fork and $120 for shipping to the US.

 ... :?
