Carbon Rims
Moderator: robbosmans
I'm looking to build a nice set of deep (50mm+) rimmed carbon wheels with SOUL-KOZAK hubs, and I was wondering what my options were for rims. I've already looked into the zipp rims, and they're sweet, but I thought I'd see if there are any other options out their. Also, I was wondering if anyone has any feedback on the soul-kozak hubs. They look really well made, and are certainly really light, but how is the durability?

Aero 28" tubulair 45mm height and 390gram
Winium 28" tubulair 22mm height and 300gram
Hi,
I built one time a pair of winium rims, and a few times aero rims.
Weights for 700 tubular rims is around 385gr for aero and 305gr for winium.
I didn't like building winium because it was very very hard to tight correctly the spokes (some nipples didn't fit well into the rim). I've never had this problem with the aero. I do ride myself aero rims, not expensive and very performant rims.
aero is 45mm, winium 24mm
hope these information help
