I know a lot of people in this forum has it but where can i buy just the rims, not the entire wheelset. I have the hubs, so I just want to build it up to my own specification. I'm looking for the 420 version. If anyone knows where to get, please let me know.

Thanks

This question has been asked many times, and maybe once or twice by me. you cannot get the rims alone.

it will take 5 - 10 mins to go through the history of the forum, if you search for cr350 or cr-350. you would have found your answer. i am not being rude, but to many people are just posting with our doing a search. fills the forum with unnecessary threads.

Hi,

I have heard before that you can't get the rim by itself (I read about this on the manufacturer's website), however, there are so many people out there with CR350 rims and still have their own specification (with their own hubs and spokes), so I thought that there must be a place that you can find one. Honestly, I don't think those people actually bought the wheelsets from AMclassic and remove all the hubs and spokes, then put their own.

That was the reason why I asked. However, if you are 100% sure that no place sells just the rims alone, I guess I will have to give up and go with other rims.

But thanks a lot and sorry to post an unncessary topic.

when i made a post about cr350 rim, i had a person (someone from the forum) PM me saying that he could get them, but i never went thru with it. i didnt think those rims were for me. i think you can get them, if you look hard enough. they were sold seperate at one time. But the hassle was not worth my time.

they are not that good; at least not to me. it is because i live in NYC to many holes in the street. we have swiss streets

vashirak, almost two years ago, american classic in the usa was selling their 350 rims separately, but dropped that option, has now only been selling them as complete wheelsets. perhaps some of the folks you've seen bought some of these earlier rims?

Now, with knowledge that the AMclassic rims are hard to find (if not, impossible to find), I think I will look for other deep rims. Any suggestion? I am looking for a clincher version, it can be either carbon or alu rims. I try to keep it lightweight but still strong and not too expensive. Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks
