Do you have Character?

As I was leaving my house yesterday on my CR1 for a recovery ride I did a drop off from a 3cm ledge at the end of a path, one of the bi-standers saw me on a shinny bike all dressed up and passed the comment "Now that's character".

In the passed I've used a Camelback at a road race and I've had hairy legs in the local A and B Grades for the past 14 months. I've now got the nick name "Camelback" man but its part of my XC background so I'm not bothered.

I'm wondering if anyone else can shead light on what gives them character when they ride/race?
